A blog post straight from my terminal

tldr, jekyll + jekyll-dash + github = blog posting productivity
Finally, I have found the perfect theme for my blog. I have long procrastinated about starting blogging and sharing what I’m learning every day. I tested many blogging platforms including wp and ghost. none of them suited my needs. I tested this configuration of jekyll and github pages as it is free. Plus the workflow suits my daily routine of working with the terminal.
Since it’s my first post, I’ll be testing the following content type here
-
emojis
-
images
- audio
- video
- gif
- url I’m an inline-style link
- code snippets
def print_hi(name) puts "Hi, #{name}" end print_hi #=> prints 'Hi, Tom' to STDOUT.('Tom')
- twitter post
Pretty much
